Rental Considerations
Many renters prefer private-owned rentals in order to get away from apartment-style living. This usually means they want more “home-like” comforts, such as an included refrigerator, garage parking (or assigned carport or space), inside laundry facilities, and personal attention from their landlord.
Additionally, many renters have pets. It’s typical to request a pet deposit of $500 in addition to the normal deposit (usually equivalent to one month’s rent). This will often increase your renter pool and increase the chances of charging a higher rent.
