Located right across the street of University of California, Irvine‘s campus, the University Town Center is home to a variety of places where students can eat, shop for groceries, study, and more. It’s connected to the campus with a bridge, giving students easy access to and from the campus. Stores like Target, Trader Joes, Chipotle, and Chick-fil-a, Dunkin Donuts are just a few places students can go and grab a bite to eat while studying in between classes.
On a regular day, the University Town Center is packed with busy students and families looking for a nice place to eat. But with the recent hit of COVID-19 the place is almost a ghost town. Little to no people are there due to the quarantine, and chairs are put away to prevent people from staying there. A few fast-food restaurants are open like Chick-fil-a and In-n-Out, but are limited to serving only drive thru.
