As a Disneyland pass holder for 5+ years, I was accustomed to arriving at the tram stop and seeing the World of Disney Store and Naples. I honestly never went back to Naples after a couple disappointing visits when it first opened. I have bad memories of horrible service, overpriced food, and waiting forever for someone to take our order and bring us our food.
While those things might not change, I’m really looking forward to being able to grab a quick cocktail after the remodel is done. The direction in retail and residential design continues to be the open concept with blending the outdoors with the interior through large openings in the building. The artist rendering above shows an outdoor patio and bar similar to what Splitsville has done.
My last blog on Downtown Disney covered the opening of the new Splitsville bowling alley. With Naples, Splitsville, and the 2 pubs coming to Downtown Disney, the place is slowly becoming the nightlife destination of the area.
