For the condominium market of Irvine 92612 which includes Avenue One, Central Park West, Marquee Towers, The Plaza / Plaza 3000, and Watermarke, pending sales had surged in July 2020.
The last 30 days within the COVID-19 impacted market continues to have significantly lower pending sales than normal. Central Park West leads in active inventory with 20 homes on the market. Last month, the numbers were very similar.
With uncertainty due to the COVID-19 lockdown, Realtors have been restricted in showing properties to would-be buyers and have been encouraged to use virtual tours and other means where social distancing would continue.
As a result, the number of homes in escrow (pending and backup offers) have decreased significantly in these Irvine luxury condominiums.
