The March numbers are in from Pacific West Association of Realtors for Anaheim Townhomes and Condominiums.
The Good News: Average Time to Sell was lower than prior months. (In January it was averaging 35 days to sell.) I’ve been seeing more listings sell after the first weekend on the market with some selling above asking price as evidenced by the 101% sold-to-list price stat below.
The Bad News: The number of new listings hitting market just isn’t enough to thaw the market. As a result, the number of pending and closed sales are at the lowest levels since the COVID shutdown when Realtors weren’t allowed to physically show properties for a month. People forget that many sellers need to purchase a replacement property and the higher interest rate and lack of selection is keeping them on the fence.
